MARTOS is proud to welcome Albion Lajqi, EIT as our newest staff engineer. After working with the MARTOS team as an intern, Albion became a full-time staff engineer upon graduation from Manhattan College in the Spring of 2023. During his time as a student, Albion was an active member of the Epsilon Sigma Pi Honor Society. In the summer of 2022, Albion gained quintessential industry experience while interning at the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) within the Construction Safety Enforcement Unit. During this time, Albion assisted in the review of incoming documents and drawings to maintain NYC building code standards. He was also able to frequently visit active construction sites throughout the five boroughs, gaining an advanced perspective for any aspiring engineer.
Albion’s determination, intelligence, and NYC DOB experience are welcomed assets for our team. His professional trajectory is preparing him for project management and future licensing as a Professional Engineer.
