MARTOS is proud to welcome Franklin Wang, EIT as our newest Staff Engineer! Joining the MARTOS team in April of 2021, Franklin has been smoothly integrating himself into the firm. Franklin holds Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and is currently completing a Master of Science degree from The City College of New York. Both degrees are being completed with a structural engineering focus. During Franklin’s time at Cornell, he served as president of the American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) student chapter and continues to be an active member of the ASCE community. As a senior lab assistant at Cornell, Franklin was also able to gain invaluable experience testing and fabricating different materials for industrial grade pipes. Franklin’s structural design experience will be further nurtured at MARTOS as he assists on projects with various materials throughout multiple sectors.
Franklin’s intelligence, eagerness to learn, and ability to comprehend complex structural designs are welcomed assets for our team. His professional trajectory is preparing him for project management and future licensing as a Professional Engineer.
