MARTOS is proud to welcome Charles Weir, PE as our newest project manager. Charlie will be integral as another senior level professional engineer at the firm. Charlie’s formal education from The Ohio State University focused on civil and environmental engineering with a specialization in structural engineering. His professional experience ranges from the structural design and analysis of low-rise buildings to determining the adequacy of telecommunications structures to support antenna loading changes. Charlie is proficient in designing various construction materials including concrete, structural steel, masonry, and wood. Charlie currently maintains professional licensure in multiple states and is an active participant of ASCE. Charlie’s intelligence, easy going nature, and variety of design experiences are welcomed assets for our team.
Charlie’s professional trajectory at MARTOS will develop from project management into a higher-level associate position as he acquaints himself with our firm’s high level of design and overall project and client standards. As MARTOS expands, Charlie’s responsibilities in regard to teaching and leading technical staff will evolve daily.
