As a recent addition to the MARTOS team, Mike has been able to quickly adapt to his role as a staff engineer where he has been actively performing structural analysis and calculations for a variety of project designs. Mike’s formal education was completed at Cornell University where he served as a teaching assistant as well as a participant in a fracture research group. The primary focus of the research was on coupled atomistic discrete dislocation (CADD) simulation development, an effort that seeks to couple continuum finite elements and atomistically modelled regions to more efficiently model crack propagation and mechanics.
Mike’s intelligence, focus, and ability to already understand various structural design concepts are welcomed assets for the MARTOS team. His professional trajectory is preparing him for project management and future licensing as a Professional Engineer.
